Kiwi netball stars Ketz-ke fashion turn to support Tania Dalton Foundation

The hoop at the end of the netball court isn't the only goal Vika Koloto's shooting for.

The 18-year-old Aucklander of Tongan heritage, who is part of the New Zealand 2021 Netball World Youth Cup squad with hopes of one day playing for the Silver Ferns, is also studying to be a primary school teacher. Sometimes the demands of those two goals land in competition with each other, such as this year, when Koloto's replacement call-up to the Northern Stars in the 2020 ANZ Premiership at times clashed with her compulsory four-week school placement. But it was ok, Koloto just had a chat with her Tania Dalton Foundation mentor, former Silver Ferns captain Bernice Mene.
