A former athlete, teacher and Silver Fern Netball Captain, Bernice has successfully etched out a career in education, television and sport. Her passion is developing youth which combines perfectly in her current role as Manager of the Pinnacle Programme, Hyundai NZ’s teenage mentoring programme.
Her contribution to sport was recognised in 2002 where she was awarded a MNZM.
Bernice was a career counsellor for AUT, worked on numerous government projects, sits on various boards as well as television presenting, keynote speaking and mother of three.
Duane has undertaken to be heavily involved in the Tania Dalton Foundation to honour the memory of his adored wife Tania. Both New Zealand representatives, Duane and Tania believed heavily in the value of sport and the lessons that can be learned.
They have always strongly supported their own children in sport and many others through their business Pita Pit. Duane along with business partner Chris Henderson have grown Pita Pit from 1 to 115 stores in NZ and were recently finalists in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year.
Duane has also been passionately involved in sport at a community, regional and national level.
Scott is a long time personal friend of Tania after Scott and Tania rst met in 1993. Scott has also been a close friend of Duane with the pair becoming friends in their early teens.
Scott is now the Chief Executive Officer for Precinct Properties which is an NZX listed real estate investment company with a portfolio of assets worth over $2 billion. Scott is also a Trustee of the Keystone Trust and is a National Councillor for the Property Council of New Zealand.
Tony is Tania’s older brother and is passionate about delivering on the vision Tania had for supporting disadvantaged youth who did not have the opportunities Tania had.
Tony has a commerce and law degree from Auckland University and is an expert in all areas of commercial property and real estate law. He has extensive experience having worked at Russell McVeagh prior to his current role as a partner at Burton Partners. Tony is also a director of a number of private companies.
Steve unlike a number of the other trustees didn’t have the sporting talent to match his enthusiasm for all things sporting and the way it helps people to be their very best.
As a member of the Executive Team at ASB he leads the bank’s Business Banking offering. He is a qualified lawyer and has an MBA with Distinction from the University of Sydney. He was a Board Member of the Kristin School Board for 5 years and as a married father of two daughters he is passionate about young people being future ready.
