Mentor
Mentoring aims to provide a purposeful, and trusting relationship, that brings young people together with caring individuals who offer guidance, support and encouragement. Being a TDF mentor is an opportunity to have a huge impact in a young person’s life and to contribute in a positive way to developing their full potential; but it is equally about how that special relationship can reward and enrich the life of the mentor. What is the commitment? We ask all of our mentors to be willing to lead the relationship with the scholarship recipient and to have regular contact of at least 8-10 times per year.
