Jeanette Paine appointed General Manager for the Tania Dalton Foundation
The Tania Dalton Foundation Board is delighted to announce the appointment of Jeanette Paine as its new General Manager.
Jeanette replaces Ant Ford who was instrumental in setting the Foundation up. Ant was a great friend of Tania’s, with a huge amount of experience in the ‘Not for Profit’ space and was invaluable in ensuring everything was in order. The Board would like to formally acknowledge Ant’s huge contribution, and passion. He has left a great base for Jeanette to build off.
Jeanette is an award-winning marketer with over 25 years ’experience working in senior leadership roles across the sporting, performing arts, secondary and tertiary education sectors. She joins the organisation from Auckland’s King’s College where she was Director of Marketing and Development for over six years.
“I had the privilege of knowing Tania personally when we worked together at Netball New Zealand when she was a Silver Fern and a major sponsor ambassador. She was an inspiring athlete who clearly understood and valued the work of those behind the scenes which allowed her to focus on delivering memorable performances on the court.”
“It is such a great honour to represent Tania’s legacy and Iam so excited to help lead the Foundation’s vision to support future generations of young sportswomen to excel in their chosen field and to help grow resiliency across our wider community.”
With her history of working with the not-for-profit sector and her proven track record in the fields of stakeholder relationship management, sponsorship, fundraising, events, marketing and communications, Jeanette brings the skills and drive to significantly build on the positive outcomes TDF has for our scholarship recipients and alumni and the people and organisations who passionately support us so that we can deliver our diverse range of programmes, says Tania Dalton Foundation Chairman and Founder Duane Dalton.
Jeanette is currently a Trustee with the Graeme Dingle Foundation Auckland. She has a Master of Creative Writing from AUT University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Canterbury University.
